Hi Guys....
A strange image has appeared on webpage. I don't think related to VSD ??
Do you see what I see... it's orange.

Steve - First glance, it looks as though you had linked to an image on another site (vs dl'g it and putting it in your site via VSD), and that site has either taken the image down, or has found out that you were linking to it and wants you to stop (?)... If you look at that image's info, you will notice in the link "/image_redirect/"...

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Steve, if you haven't placed the code that Eric said should be removed yourself, my hunch is that your site has been hacked. I'd change the password to the server immediately! If it has been placed there by the people running the server, quit and get hosting somewhere else.

Gone now... Have taken out the html box code. There was a link to another website/image. I think it is that site that has been altered/taken over/hacked.

Just for future reference, you should never link to images or files on other people's websites unless you have their permission to do so. It uses their bandwidth every time someone loads your site if you're linking to images at their site and of course their bandwidth if you're linking to files.

Your site pages will also load much faster if the images are located on your own server rather than someone else's as you can then use relative links instead of full links which is less work for the browsers to sort through to get to the images.

Just an FYI :)

And... sometimes web developers will purposely change the image file you've linked to (usually to something disgusting or pornographic) so you won't "hot-link" to their images. :o
