I downloaded the latest version 5.8 yesterday onto two PC's.
Worked on the same files on both machines, but on the second computer VSD crashed four times.

What is different about the second system? Can you reproduce the error on the first or does it only occur on the second? What were you trying to do that caused the crash?

The only difference I've noticed so far was the Add Files wizard doesn't pop up when using the Html tool, but not a big deal.works great here.

I also downloaded the new version of VSD and cannot get it to work - it crashed every time! Don't know what to do about it.

Adrain did you uninstall the old version first restart then install the new vesion, most of the time that works

Yup. same problem here under vista. I can re-install the programme and it works a couple of times then fails to load.
Didn't do this with the older version which I've gone back to
???

Ros, have you turned off the UAC? Another tip would be to right click the icon and choose 'Run as administrator'.
