I am in the process of building my website and I noticed that after adding the HTML form to my "contact" page and after adding a slide show to a "portrait" page those two pages are not centered. They shift a few pixels to the left. Any idea what might be the problem?
(site is not completed yet so be gentle)

Odd viewed in firefox all pages are perfectly central, might be worth mentioning in which browser problem occurred

and ctrl f5 after editing pages, occasionally clears thing up

Looking good so far

Just spotted in code " Powered by <a href="http://www.flash-gallery.org">Flash Gallery</a></div> "

you might find Google will feature that widely in a google search distracting interest from the actual website content . WORTH CHECKING !

It actually happens in all browsers I've tested, IE9, Firefox8, Opera and Chrome but in some browsers "portrait" page is centered fine. When you click on different pages in the site and then back to "home" you will notice a slight shift.

And regarding the flash-gallery link, well, this is an unpaid version of the software so I can't remove it according to the license unless I buy the full version. I will need to check how distracting it really is and if so I will buy the paid version which eliminates the link

I checked using the latest IE, FF, and Chrome and it does not shift on the contact or portrait page. I even marked the edge of the container to be sure. They do not shift.

Regarding the ad link, the program is only $49. Buy it, your site will look more professional without spam links.

Thanks. I will try to clear the cache again and see what happens. It is really strange because I just downloaded the latest Safari browser for PC and the "Contact" page shifts slightly to the left (the "portrait' page doesn't however). I assume when I download the browser I didn't have before, it shouldn't have any "memory" how to display pages....

Tempted to say the little shift to the left may go away all on its own, I think i would soldier on with the site, as all in all it is looking great, see in a week or two if browser issues still occur.

Only mentioned the gallery link issue as often it comes as a surprise one day when doing your own test searches when a goole search displays something like

EricPhotoart : magical photography for weddings also portrait, and group photoshoots www.flash-gallery.org"..Flash Gallery..wedding pictures, portraits, all special events catered for

Got it. Thanks. I am still working on the site so it will take some time to finish it completely. Hopefully the "shift" will go away but honestly I think it has to do something with the form or the slideshow I inserted to those pages. We'll see. Thanks again.
