I have a customer who needs an easy-to-use shopping cart system. I'm sitting here designing her web site using VSD, and I realize, "why reinvent the wheel?" So I start looking at Shopping Cart Creator, and I get rather confused.

Rather than spending hours trying to answer my own question, I figured I'd just ask it here...

Is it possible to use the design I create in VSD as the template used in SCC for the shopping cart pages? I mean, if I set the client up with VSD to edit her web site, that's going to cost her $49. Adding SCC to it will cost another $49. I can't ask the client to pay yet another $49 for Shopping Cart Designer, when I'm already selling her a design program!

So can I just use VSD and SCC together without having to also use SCD to design the thing?

You cant design anything in SCC,

You can only design and modify SCC designs or templates by using SCD

(A) Have you checked out the theme store

(B) bit cheeky but have you tried using a trial version of SCD
