Since last week ....I've been encountering an issue that whenever I save the index file of my website ....that during a few hours of working on it....then go to save it -- it will say that "home page cannot be saved"....then when I look into it further......THAT file is completely gone from the main folder. Why am I losing my index files ??? I"m not doing anything out of the ordinary.....and this is the third time this week.....quite frustrated and need help on this please. Because of this issue....my form and my PDF files cannot be found with using my BACKUP files of this index. Thank God that I made several back ups....but this is a serious issue for me because I've spent money on this.

Gigi, Try saving your website under a new name and see if the problem stops.

This was an issue with an older version I seem to remember.

Well I have upgraded ....and still with problems with my link going into never-never-land.

I'm trying to understand as to why my link to a PDF file keeps going to a "index_website" / "files" / "download" ......which I never created these files. There is a main file that contains the index.....then there is a sub-folder that contains my documents to create my PDF links. I'm getting quite frustrated !!!

My husband and I spent all night trying to fix this issue.....it got corrected this morning but then I went I went into Scribus to change my fonts ....went back to VSD to reattach the link ... it became broken again.

I'm at a loss......
