Hi Lisa,
There's no way to do this with VSD itself. You could however insert some HTML code on your pages using external software for searching your site. Coffeecup has a software for this: Flash Website search. It has one big disadvantage: it searches only for text, so only inside the html code of your pages and not for instance inside Word or PDF files that might be on your site, but if you don't mind, then this is the best option.
There are a lot of freeware search engines that overcome this disadvantage, such as jrank http://www.jrank.org/ and atomz http://atomz.com/ I tried both, they both work fine, but you have to accept advertisement.

With CC software you do not have to worry about advertising. I have used the flash search software and though it has its limitations, I find that it is overall an excellent piece of software.
