One frustration that I keep experiencing with VSD, is when I hit standard Windows command keys used in all kinds of desktop and other publishing programs, like Ctrl-B for bold, Crtl-U for underline and Ctrl-I for italic. These are very standard commands in the Windows world, but when I invoke them on highlighted text in VSD, it goes bye-bye, and permanently, replaced by a weird looking little character. And it can't be undone, I just have to retype in all the lost text, if I can remember it!

Come on guys, could you please fix this?

( I'm sure I'll get corrected on this now, but just had to say it. I think it needs to be done, to avoid hassling people when they use commands that are pretty universal in all other Windows software. )

VSD does not work like a Word Editor. The HTML Editor allows you to use those shortcuts.

I do agree it should be able to be undone.

I dont do html, and i dont use any magic keys, i have watched a friend of mine hit 2 keys to evenly space text etc.

Apparently because VSD is WYSIWYG, those keys cant work something to do with the fact it creates a slightly different code to say the html editor.

I have also asked about the proverbial, centre, left justify, right justify, would be nice if that had, evenly space text option.

Now i am guessing here but left justify is possibly one of those two key options, but WYSIWYG, so surely thats why they dont work ???????

I don't think most users of VSD will notice. I never noticed it but that's probably because I can backspace out mistakes faster then I can type.
