Hi, I'm in the process of making this http://www.test.walgochfishing.com does anyone know a way that I can round off the edges of the firestarter movie? Also, can I float a logo over the top of it?
I don't think you can't apply the rounded corners to the movie itself.
I think the easiest thing to to would be to place inside rounded corner images over the corners of the movie that match your background with VSD or html/css.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Can I make a rounded corner image in VSD? Whenver I've tried to use the frame thing, it comes out huge!
Try the attached image.

Janet, I'm not sure what the frame thing is, but if you use the shapes tool and drag out a rectangle, you can then go to the object properties box and enter a number in the 4th box down from the top (it has a curve with an arrow in it) and that will round the corners. Play with the number amount 'til you get it how you want it. It works on photos, too.
For your movie, I'd round the corners on the photos then pace them over a slightly larger rectangle the same color as your background (using Photoshop or similar). Then create your movie.
It's been awhile since I used Firestarter, I don't know if it's possible to have the logo as a layer that floats over the other images as they fade in/out. Its time line would stretch the entire length of the movie?
If not, you could always add it to each image back in Photoshop. Put it in the same position on each image.

You can have a logo on top of images in Firestarter. I have it here: http://www.eikweb.com/toscana/
The text on top of the flying martins is an image with a transparent background, and it is part of the flash file.

Good to know, Inger
Here's a slide-show with the 'slides' created in Photoshop:

The photos are on a white background to blend into the page background.

Inger, that's brilliant, thank you so much! So sorry to ask, but I no longer have paintshop (my son lent it to a friend, duh) on my new PC, would you be able to do one with a bit less rounding so that it matches the other corners on the site, if I promise not to ask idiotic questions and behave myself, and say pretty please?

It was Eric who made the corner image. I'm sure he will create one with less rounding.
Ha en riktig god dag!
