Resizing images using the "Group"...

I have "grouped" together several of my images and text and then tried resizing them as a group, but I am not being given this option. Is this even possible?

Also, every time I try to move anything on my page my darn bakcground keeps moving along with it. I keep clicking off of the image, but it ends up being moved again in spite of that. Is there any way to stop my background from moving?

you need one of the tecky guys to explain this better, but in simple terms

in vsd if you go to pages tool, and look at page background if its not that image moving, its not the background that your moving around but an element infront.

same principle as i explained in your other thread, make your own background by doing a save as and then place it in vsd as above then it won't move

have a look at chauffeur wedding cars in my signature, that whole pinstripe design is a background produced using VSD (and it took hours)

Viv, i just went to the site you mentioned and I don't see any pinstripe design. Maybe it's just my server IE?

Do I need to just save the background, as background.jpg for example and then add it to each page? I'm not certain i am understanding you correctly. Right now it's not allowing me to send it to the back.

Holly, To place your background image, go to Page Settings and choose image as background, use the browse option to find your image.
Then, under Settings > Background Image, choose if you want that page background to fill the screen (extend beyond page borders) or pick another color or image to fill the screen background.

Also under Settings, Standard Settings for New Pages, you can choose to have your backgrounds apply to all pages. Set your link properties here, too. ;)

Thanks guys. Paintbrush, I had set the background and I already made a few various templates with it, to save me work, but for some strange reason, on this particular site, I have to be very careful not to click anywhere as it will move. It does not do this on the the other sites, which is why i found this to be odd. I guess I just have to be alot more careful with this site.

BTW Paintbrush, i love the quote in your sig! And Viv, is that really a pic of you? Pretty cool if it is!
Anyone who doesn't follow the crowd is alright with me! Thanks guys!

Holly a lot of early VSD templates "classical Jaz" for one, behaved like your describing, I will put money on it , if you re do it, using the pages tool the problem will go away.

if you like download my template and put that in using the pages tool, see if it goes behind it , i bet it does and leaves yours infront
