Hello

Ive added a embeddable forum to my site. The forum expands the website in length and the page gets bigger, however the background picture im using are stuck and the footer kinda stops half way (doesnt move at all when the forum expands). Is there a way in vsd to make a repeatable background picture, so when the site expands the footer follows aswell? Or do i need some other coding knowledge for this to happen?

If this isnt possible anyone got an easy solution?

Hiya Rmk82,

Do you have a link? That would help those that use VSD to help you better if they can actually see what it's doing wrong. :)

You see the box splitting the forum with the Facebook and Twitter button? Dont mind that its not aranged to back, but where the box is that is the max of my page, but the forum expands the page even further, so i wondered if there was a way to make the footer be at the bottom at all times even if content expands the webpage.

You'll have to use a bit of code, VSD doesn't include this:

he idea here is that the footer always stays at the bottom of the browser window and the page will scroll behind it.

He certainly is our greatest asset. That help site of his is worth it's weight in gold.

And the rest of us are also able to think a 'thunk' or two, of course ;)

This might serve your needs.

The problem your going to have is that the forum will always get bigger and bigger unless there's a way to restrict its length in the code so your going to need to code your background image also so that can grow with the forum since page lengths are fixed in VSD. How about putting the forum in an IFrame?
I'm not totally sure about how you want your page to show. A link would be nice.:)
