I went nowhere near grey when creating that image, and I just downloaded it myself, and opened it up in paint, and it's showing the transparent speckled background. I don't know what you're doing. Sorry!

Glad it worked Viv. And to add Viv, sometimes transparent images do show up with a black background in VSD. :)

Back to Greg, yes I do believe the best idea is to do images for your headers, and to add alt tags for keywords if you want. Honestly though, you'll probably be repeating most of the text that in the headers in your page, so I would not be too concerned about it.

It's when people use text image for complete paragraphs that lose them their keywords. :)

gif, again I say, is more for animated images, and not sure why you're wanting them. Don't think WIS handles gifs, so if you want to lean that way, you'll have to use whatever program you used to make your Home page image - which yes, looks the best out of all your pages. :)

Bren, thats been a bit of fun, hope it was usefull for Greg, didnt intend to hijack his thread

Something new to learn every day, one day i will work out how you did it.

In meantime it proves a point VSD tool does work for us novices but theres a better way

No, that's okay Viv. Just a little concerned as Greg seemed a little overwhelmed before, so didn't want to have side-tracked posts going on.

If you want me to give you a detailed list of what I did, just say so in another thread (probably WIS :D ), and you'll be adding text images everywhere in no time. I've looked at your sites, and they're great. :)
