Removing the grid

Can anyone please tell me how to remove the grid? I wanted to use it temporarily but cannot find a way to remove it now.

you can remove the grid by hiding or removing guides under the view menu

Thank you Cayucostom. The only problem in my doing that is it then hides my other vertical lines, etc. Is there a way to just remove the grid alone?

Not that I know of you can just put the vertical ones back in if you remove the grid, however if you just hide the grid inserting guide just brings grid back.

Alright, then I'll just delete everything and have to start vfrom scratch. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

The grid is only to help in the design not part of it. I hope that is clear. Deleting everything is a bit severe
