I publish a new work onto the site from VSD, but when it is complete, it just shows the previous work I published, not the recent stuff.

First things first, do Ctrl + F5 on every page see if that helps

And what Viv means by that (and a few other posters that post what to do without telling you what that actually is doing *smacks Viv* lol) is that you need to clear your browser cache or program cache which that keyboard combo will do both. Cache is what your computer does with images and information from websites as it saves it in temporary places so you don't have to load it each time you visit the site. Clearing that temp cache out makes it reload the page as it should.
