I published my site with Filezilla and it looks completely distorted. Everything looks good in the VSD but then when I go to the actual website, everything is mangled. I have no idea why it looks like this... Please help!

Are you sure you published the correct files? There's not much in the html to distort.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I see quite some distortion on the pages linked to the one you posted. I don't use VSD, so I will not pretend being able to advise you, but one thing I know something about:

Your images are far too large (in bytes), so the background e.g. loads very slowly. Use an image editing software and scale down the images to the size you want to display. Also, make sure the resolution is 72, not 300 or so. And for large images use .jpg instead of .png, then the file size will be smaller.

The others here will be able to help you with the distortion problem.

Tara, have you tried publishing from within VSD?
Make sure everything looks good in Preview, then try the Re-Sync Site option under Publish.
VSD will upload everything it needs.

Good advice from Inger – be sure your images are sized/optimized for web ;)

Why, don't VSD and Yahoo play well together?

I'm with Yahoo, too. :( Probably not for long.)
What I've been doing (instead of FTPing up to the server).... I log into my Yahoo account, go to file management and use the built in uploader. Browse to the page or pages (images, too) I've made changes on and click to upload. As long as the file names are the same, the new ones will replace the old ones.

Another option to look at if not using VSD to upload...make sure your FTP program is set to 'Binary' upload. Anything else can and will mess up some files.
