Hi,
Site: www.justinbrownguitar.com
Got a problem and hope you guys can help. I have done a search and haven't really found any posts with the same problem, so I am hoping it is because I am being stupid!!!
Anyway, I have to upload my site and one of the pages is huge. It has about 20 MP3's on there. This isn't actually the problem. I have done it before (and stupidly deleted it) and want to upload it again. The problem is it takes AGES to upload (hours) and right at the very end of the upload, a message comes up saying you have deleted items is this OK?
Now, if I do not say yes then within a minute it will say the connection has broken or something? And I will have to start it all again.
If I want to do a huge update, do I really have to sit next to my Computer for hours and wait for this little message to appear or can I somehow tell it, it is fine???
Thanks
Justin
Problem with uploading site with...
Hi Justin,
Sounds like when you removed that page or objects on that page you didn't remove them using the remove files option located under the settings tab. You will need to do that as VSD is still looking for or wanting to remove those from the vnu file. Once you do this it should not ask again.
20 mp3's -are you using Web Jukebox for this? If so just copy the html codes to your page and upload with Web Jukebox, this way you won't be hampered with long uploads, and the files and mp3's are already on your server.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
