This problem is only on my home page www.strikehold.com I upload using direct FTP and have re-published the site several times trying to fix the problem. By the way, I can't publish with VSD as it always says "out of memory"...I've reduced the size of all my graphics, but I guess it's a big site, although that doens't seem right. Worst problem now is just the graphics on the home page. HELP PLEASE

I am having this precise problem as well.

Tech support suggested opening all graphics (gif, jpg, etc) and making sure that all of then are set to 72 pixeels per inch. You can do that with the free gimp graphics editor.

This solution did not help me, but I would be interested to see if it helps you, and if it does, please post.

Good luck!

Atlascott,
I finally found the "resync" and took a shot, having seen another post suggesting to do this and delete any files using windows explorer that cause the upload to stop (not just slow down...some files do take longer and you'll have to watch to know which file it stops on so be patient). It actually didn't stop on any files for me, made it through the whole thing and when finished my website (finally) looked right! thank goodness, I spent HOURS trying to fix this today before finding this solution. Good luck.

Same Problem here! Our website is still under construction and very small but we get the out of memory error also. I tried using CC PixConverter thinking that this should work, but no way! We are dead in the water! What gives!

After a lot of trial and error I think I know why my web pages are causing out of memory errors. If I copy a grouped object and paste it on the same page it will almost always cause an out of memory error. Remove the pasted group and I can save and upload. Might be a mirage but then again I am uploading now!

I discovered this Out of Memory error today with 5.9.4.
It wasn't there a month ago and I haven't made any changes since then.

The error was Not enough Memory (There is not enough memory to use the selected picture as fill. Solid color is used instead as the fill but it is wise to reboot your computer and try again.)

All of the images would appear as green while the error was on the screen. Click OK and most of the images appear but 1 was orange.

The issue was temporarily solved for now.
I had a jpg logo file (it was shown as orange) grouped with a text box. By reinserting the jpg and reinserting the text, AND NOT GROUPING them together, the problem has gone away.

You have to remove all of the grouped picture/text boxes in the entire site or the issue will remain.

Hope this helps tracking it down.

Interesting. I'll have to test grouping items together and see if I can get any memory and/or upload errors. Good work providing some details that could help the CoffeeCup gang in narrowing it down.

Found resync, and VSD said it "had a problem" and "needed to close." Crash time...
