Since upgrading to VSD v.6 b.6 I have not been able to upload through VSD for one of my websites. Two others upload just fine. I tried uploading it and it became messed up, jukeboxes not working, video player not working. So, I tried with Direct FTP, but that didn't work. I reinstalled the jukeboxes and video player files and that helped, but still VSD would not upload. Got "Error occured during upload" many, many times. Tried re-syncing, no luck. So, finally I uploaded with Wise FTP. That worked. However, now I have to make a change and want VSD to work. So, I have saved the site as a different name.

Now, should I delete the site from the server before I try to upload or should I try to upload without deleting the files on the server??

Want to try to upload with VSD so it will continue to work, and so I won't have to upload the whole site every time I make a change.

When it fails to upload and shows you that error can you see what exactly it stops on? like an image or flash?
have you tried un-doing your editing and see if you can upload ?
Did you use the flash tool when adding your jukebox and videos?

Before you delete anything Sarah it would be in your best interest to make a folder on your desktop and download everything from your server to that folder, then you can remove the files from your server, and try uploading,
Don't forget to upload the files folder as well when making a change and using an external ftp like filezilla or wise.... Please let us know how it goes.

Hi Bruzer, Thanks for writing. No, it doesn't show me in VSD what the error was. Just says Error occured during uploading. I already made so many changes to the site, I don't remember what I changed. I uploaded the jukebox and video from each program directly. thanks for the idea to download and save the site. I had tried uploading the site with the new name, but that produced the error message too. I uploaded again with wise ftp and it works fine, but I really want VSD to work properly. Before all the upgrading it uploaded fine. The site is the church site that over the past 2 years has grown and grown. http://www.uuchesterriver.org.

So, I will download the site and save on the desktop and then delete it all on the server and then upload again from VSD. Hopefully it will work. Thanks for your help. sarah
