Problem keeping objects within the...

Hi,

I must admit, I resisted converting to VSD but now that I am becoming more familiar, I really like it.

My problem is that I'm struggling to positioning objects on the page and having them stay there even when I maximize the browser window. I've looked at several that were developed with vsd that are posted in this forum and they all seem to be perfectly positioned at any size window that I open the browser to.

I think I am missing a basic design concept/rule.

Thanks,
Craig

I don't want to assume anything about the design so which objects are out of place?

The HTML objects slide over, except for the menu when I maximize the window. It also had a problem with images so I just deleted them, except for the background of course.

Pagesize is 1200x800

Craig, You have duplicate content on your page. I guess I need to know which objects you want to keep. The text, Facebook, twitter and Google Checkout on the left hand side that to me seems out of place are duplicate of what you already have on your page. Are those the elements that your struggling with? I would delete the HTML boxes that contain the duplicate content and then we can see about fixing any of your problems.:)

Hi,

Actually, I was trying to place those objects in a table (at the top) to see if I could contain their location better. I just kept the original copy on the page since I wasn't sure it would work (which it didn't).
VSD and the expanded screen.
