I bought the visual site designer about a month ago. Don't have any experience in creating websites, but the software did a nice job and was not hard to work with.

The site is for my wife's small restaurant/diner in Falls Church, VA. I am still working on it to fix some items, but it is 95% done.

Pretty nice. On some pages you do not have a Home page link though, and I got lost in the site. Also your coupon link opens to CC SCD Pro page? Must have entered the wrong URL there. The menus are nice addition, but as Janys said they are different sizes and some of the wording is hard to make out. I would place the menus on separate pages as well as a .pdf file, some people will not open or download files.

Well it took a while from being non-technee to managing to get up a web page ! I decided to save money and move from my old web page and "master" who promptly would not transfer my .co.uk over to me ! So www.saithstud.com has been created.

I have no idea how to get it even noticed by google, but thats the next stage ! its up -- yahoo thanks to coffee cup !

Nice site, I like the pictures of the horses. There are optimization sites that will charge you a fortune to get your site to show up on top at Google, but best to use a freebie site to have it listed. I've added 20 pages of guest book entries after listing my site in early October. Also adding a header to your page will help, and my favorite is to add alternate text to the front page banner which describes your service of the web site.

This is our Soap and Candles website, located in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. I am still working on it to fix some items, but it is almost complete.

Finished today.

Apart from the imaging in Photoshop, made entirely with Coffee Cup software.

Thanks to the Coffee Cup people (esp. Scott) for helping me get used to the caffiene-driven environment.

So what does it mean when you see this on someones website instead of the site itself??
If you click on the linked word "files" you can see there images.

Index of /

That means there is not a default index page in that directory and Apache is authorized to display the directory content.

So if someone has had there web page up for awhile, as in the case of precolumbiantreasures.com, how or why would this be the case?

It doesn't matter how long the site has been operational. At this point in time, in that directory, none of these files exist:

default.htm
default.html
index.htm
index.html
default.php
index.php

If any one of those files were in the directory, you would see it instead of the directory content.

I guess what I am asking is why would you not see that file?
Was it removed by the owner for what ever reason or is something wrong internally with the server that it got deleted?

I am surprised that the website owner has not fixed this.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
