Bruce,

Hey, once again, thank you for all your help! I wanted to let you know what's been going on here. I once and for all saved the website in VNU. Deleted all the files on the server and re uploaded so that tech support could view my problem. I deleted all my temp files, cookies, and history, and still had distorted images. I got a friend on the phone who told me to press Ctrl f5, and that should force a refresh on the browser, when I did that, all the pages that were messed up came into view fine. It was really a miracle. I got on the phone with yahoo tech support and they told me that was the correct thing to do. They then had me select "tools" on my internet explorer broswer, "internet options," "advanced," then restore IE back to it's default settings. I did that then once again deleted, internet files, cookies, and history, and have been able to view it just fine since. I'm still not sure I understand how this works. I was told that my browser was fetching the "cached" image files and displaying those, even though changes had been made, it was showing me the old ones. Even to the extent that, I would upload an image, for example IMG_111, which would be an "advanced text" image of the word "Home" (advanced text using shadow for the font), when I uploaded it to the Yahoo mainframe, IMG_111, would be a an advanced text image of the word "contact."

I thought that in that somewhere in the ftp transfer, the image names were being changed around and so the HTML was referencing the correct image, but that correct image had been changeed. Apparently not. Because I'm viewing my Yahoo Root directory on an internet explorer browser, even on the mainframe viewing my images they were pulling up the previously cached versions of them. Does that make sense?

I used the VSD passive mode ftp to upload one website to Yahoo, and filezilla to upload another, basically the same issues on both sites were resolved with the before mentioned solution.

Bruce, if you wouldn't mind taking a look at the web pages I sent you earlier in an email just to confirm with me that I'm not dreaming all of this, I'd appreciate it!

I was using the advanced text option to make shadows behind the text in my nav bar, would you still suggest I uncheck it? Also, is this right? Does this make sense? I'm I doing anything wrong or would you have any other suggestions for me? I'm not even sure I'm real anymore. Thank you SO much for all you help. I will post this on the forum in hope that it might solve some one else's issue.

All looks fine Shaun, Good Job!
If we can help with anything else please let us know.
If your going to use the drop shadows you will need to check the box for advanced text otherwise I would say no. What Yahoo explained to you is correct about clearing the cache files/temp internet files.
