I built my website a year ago with VSD. It worked perfectly. I could always make changes, they took and no problems whatsoever. Now my website is trapped. I made my last update in October. Since then, my website goes through the entire uploading process, says "Website is published!" or whatever that little statement is, and then when I look at it, nothing. I clear caches, temp files, everything. I have tried 2 different computers, still nothing. I even tried a new web address and it does the exact same thing, but alas, the site is not there when i check it. site is www.cooldoggrooming.com.

I desperately need to update my site, lost 3 hours tonight working on it only to have it not take the changes.

Please help!

Yeah, that's not current. Last night I completely revamped it. It's not showing up. ARGH!

If I were you , I would try a resync at this point, usually this takes care of that problem, I would also ( IMO ) change the width of your pages to maybe 900x1600 as it is said that people like to scroll up & down and not side to side, that would get rid of the image tiling as well. Did you happen to get any errors when uploading? such as something like "you have deleted some objects from your pages would you like to remove from server as well" then it asks click yes or no? ( choose no ) if you did/do.

Ok, I can't change ANYTHING. I just spent all evening optimizing my website, but the changes don't take. I re-synced. No errors, it acts as it always has. I watch the files it uploads, it is the new files. But when I go to the site, the old stuff is there.

OK!, a dumb thing I'm going to ask cause I wouldn't be me if I didn't, but you are saving the changes first correct? Also I would suggest upgrading to the current version which is 6.06, and when promtd for anything choose "yes" then re-upload and see if the changes go with it. I believe this will fix your current problem Sarah

I have the new version. It doesn't work. I went back to the old version because I thought that would work. See...crazy isn't it??

Also, I have www.cooldoggroomingstudio.com. I try to upload to that site (there currently isn't anything on there). It does the same thing. Uploads, tells me it's done, then, nothing. Could my wireless be the problem?

OK, how about we try or you try using an external ftp to upload your files. do you have one? filezilla, direct ftp, or free ftp that coffeecup offers here...Just use the same settings as you have in VSD, then open your website folder, the folder with _website usually found by default in My Documents, and upload everything in that folder to your server and see if the changes show up then.
only way to see if it is wireless.....I think
