I looked thru the help files and can't figure this out.

I am simply trying to place 7 buttons along the left side of my page that will link to all the pages in my website.
I start with drawing a rectangular shape and then type in the Object Properties dialog box "HOME" in the button text box. The letters are not appearing. Yes, I changed the color of the font.
Then, I select the link button and choose "use link" and choose the appropriate page in the drop down menu.

Am I going about this the right way?

After I figure out why my text isn't appearing in my rectangular shape, I'll add all the buttons for my 7 pages. Can I then copy/paste them to all the other pages, or is there another way.

I'm definetly open to suggestions if there is a better way to create buttons.

Ok, I was using the "frame" shape instead of the rounded rectangle. My button text was behind the frame. ...all is well.
