Placing a link around a certain part...

I was curious if there is a way to put a link on just a portion of a graphic image? I played around with FrontPage a few years ago and it seems as though you could use a tool to draw a box (invisible of course)around a portion of an image and make it a link. I think it even had a tool that allowed you to free style draw around any shape and then create a link out of just that part of the image. An example might be a photo of the Statue of Liberty against the backdrop of the city and you want to make it so that just the Statue of Liberty is a link, not the entire photo.

Can something similar to this be accomplished in VSD?

Thx

You cannot do this directly in VSD, but with the CoffeeCup app. Site mapper you can create hotspots on an image with links to various sites/pages. These images can then be imported into VSD using the html tool.

Inger, Surely you mean image mapper?

Thanks Inger and Greg.

I knew those were called hotspots but of course when I was trying to think of the word while posting my question it wouldn't come to me.

I just read up on the Image Mapper app and it sounds like it will do exactly what I want. I plan to download tonight when I get home.

Thanks again.
