Picture tool replication problem -...
Here is the problem illustrated:
- use the Picture Tool to create a picture ("Pic1") on the main page (page 1)
- create another page (page 2), and copy this picture onto it
- now, in page 2, put a new picture ("Pic2") onto the replicated Pic1 using the "Picture Tool"
- create a simple text link or somethig (to flip the pages), and then "Preview"
The problem is that Pic2 on page 2 is replicated into the original Pic1 in page 1. I have tried this many times, and it's always the same problem. It only shows up when I "preview", not when designing the pages. I use Visual Site Designer Version 6.0, Build 6, Windows 7.
If I make new pictures on page 2 that does not overlap the replicated Pic1, all is fine. So It seems that only the part of pictures that overlaps the replicated Pic1 on page 2 is mirrored into the original Pic1 on page 1.
Can this be solved somehow?

Rune, maybe it would work if you don't copy the first picture (pic1). Instead, go to your second page and insert the picture from the original file (just as you did on the first page), then insert your pic2 and position them. One other thing - size your photos in an image editor before inserting into VSD rather than adjusting dimensions within VSD (that can cause problems sometimes).
I've put overlapping photos in VSD sites and haven't had any glitches, so it is possible. If you still have a problem with it, you could post a link to the site so we could have a look to see what's going on.
