Hi
i keep analyzing my site and find I need to add more content to improve its ranking. I want to put more text on the home page but I seem to run out of space. Can I make the page longer & wider, or is that a bad idea?

My site is:
http://boxcleversecurity.com
Any advice or comments welcomed.
Thanks and remember I'm not that bright- it's just the sun shinning out of my rear that creates that illusion!

It's no problem to make the page as long as you want, but don't make it wider. Any visitor dislikes scrolling horizontally, but doesn't mind scrolling vertically

Hi Kev,

You can make the page longer by clicking the Page button at the top of VSD and typing a bigger number for the height. I'm with John on not making it wider. It's wide enough right now that visitors don't have to scroll left & right.

Is there a length limit on objects? I would like to have a longer page - which I can do - but the 'box' or object I want won't let me make it as long as I want.

Tim, you could use something like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Gimp... to create your box. Save for web and insert it like an image.
