Thanks for the reply Bruzer,

I have submitted a support ticket on the issue. You are right!! I'm not gonna let this get the best of me!! I errr.... we will get to bottom of the issue! :)

I have a question for you. Is there a way to get to the different layers of images and delete them??

See webhomepage.jpg attached. There seems to be two of the same images on top of each other just a bit off set. Is there a way to get to the underlying image and delete it?? Oh say it can be done. :D :D

Have a good day.

Hi James,
with each click whether your adding or subtracting an image is a layer as you know, you should just be able to click just the underlying image (will have a blue border around it) and hit delete, however why not get rid of both images and re-add 1.....did you see that little vid I made showing you how I did all that, trying to copy your site? :)

But when I view the page in VSD there IS NO underlying/second image. I only see the correct image. I do not see the second under lying image? :) Am I dumb or what? : ) :)

Thanks

NO! If you delete the image you see, then if you still see it delete the layer! til ity's gone
you can use shapes to bring back the background color or upload to a server of mine so I can actually see the problemfirst hand

Bruce is clearly correct in that the image 'onweb' has more than one layer of images. And they are not placed exactly on top of each other, you can see that it has two of the same images nearly covering each other. The uppermost layer seems to be the one which is being displayed in VSD.

Ummm ...I think I pointed that out way back....:P

James don't pass up that offer! Send all the files to Scott :D

Will have a look later Scott and see if I can rustle up one for you.

James, have a look at the images in your Files Folder. What's showing up on line for your header is
IMG 41.jpg - original dimensions: 921 x 615, scaled to 959 x 119 - thus the smushed image stuck in the middle. This is what it looks like before being re-sized:

http://www.applecreekstudios.biz/files/IMG_41.jpg

I would delete that and create a new version of the header image at 959 x 119 - just the black-gold gradient without the portrait image in it.

And I'd take Scott up on that offer! If I had my current site further along, I would send it in :D

I have deleted all VSD files from my local hd and from my web server and rebuilt the site.

It looks much better now EXCEPT!!! where did the nice borders go???

Have a look at vsdhome.jpg , which is how the page looks in VSD. Then look at webhome.jpg

Where did the borders go??

Thanks for you time.
