Opening vnu file on different...
I have a new computer and I added my website folder and .vnu file to the computer. I opened up the vnu file and there are no images! How can I get it to point to the right files without adding them all over again? Shouldn't they automatically be in there?
I wanted to change something on the website while I was out of town. I guess I'll have to wait until I'm home with the original files (although i have ALL the right files on my laptop).
Thanks,
T.

Hi T,
my guess is that when you added your images to the website originally, then the new comp must have the images in there original place as your desktop. in other words a carbon copy of locations. make sense.......
the way to find out which folder a certain image came from so you can make that folder on the new comp and put the image in there is by looking at the db_vsd php file on your server, (if you don't remember which came from where)

Hmmm.....I know where all the images are. I have them in the exact same place as on my desktop. But for some reason, when I just double click the vnu file to open it, it doesn't automatically import the images. So I guess there must be a way to import all the images or to point the empty spaces to the images in the correct folder. Everything on my new computer is as it is on my desktop at home....except that I didn't create it on this computer, only copied all the files over.
So I guess what I need to know is how to import the images to the vnu file. I'm not sure why it doesn't automatically show up...it does with other software.

usually T it's needs you to point to a few of the images before it imports them, last time that happened to me it took me ten pages before it happened, but it was an older version.
Yes! Now, HOW do I point to the image? I remember when I first opened it up it asked for a location BUT I couldn't figure out which image it wanted, because there are several on the page! I guess if I can figure that out, everything will be fine.
well sorry for the delay, a window will open saying it cant find a certain something, well just click in the window and scroll to the end to see what exactly it's looking for. Sorry I dont have a screenshot
