When I view my site online, the pages are so large it necessitates scrolling over to view all the text. I would like not to have to do this and be able to see the entire page without having to scroll over. Do I need to reduce the page size or what?

More then likely. What is the width of your page and what is the resolution of your monitor?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
