In VSD:

I want to put my phone number in the header of my site. But just as regular text. Not Skype.

How do I do that? Heading looks great on VSD. But on preview shows the Skype format.

I will want to use the Skype feature at the bottom of the page.

This happens because your have Skype installed on your pc.

Actually it's a Skype plugin that you need to turn off so it doesn't show the Skype phone setup. This will however affect "all" phone numbers on the web. What is easy to do is turn it off for texting your sites, then turn it back on if you're using that feature. If not, turn it off and leave it off.

Yes I do have Skype. So I have a plugin that I can turn off.

Does that mean that anyone that has skype on their PC and is viewing my site will see the skype button?

And if they don't have skype it will show as regualar text?

Is there any way in VSD to have the best of both worlds?

Yes anyone that has the Skype plugin (this btw is in your browser, not within the program itself) will see the Skype setup and if not they will see the setup you have created. You can have the best of both worlds by altering it on your site to look good both ways. Since you have the browser plugin turned on you can alter the setup in VSD and fine tune it till it looks good to you with and without the plugin turned on.

Sorry the link doesn't do me any good since I don't have skype installed. I personally wouldn't put things so close to the edge as that site has the phone number showing on the banner area, but that's a preference I suppose.

Other than that, just adjust it in VSD till you get what you want it to look like text wise, and then turn on your Skype plugin in your browser and see what it looks like. Alter it in VSD till you are happy both ways. Good luck and have fun with it
