I have the most recent version of VSD and I added a back and next arrow on about 5 pages.

For some weird reason the first page I add the arrow to click to go next is repreated on ALL of the other pages. Even ones with no arrow for next page.

What the heck? Here is a screen shot.

I'm not able to recreate your issue. Here I get only the buttons that I put on the pages myself, nothing gets repeated.

Could you please tell us step by step how you did this?

I'm running into the same problem as "FilmHistorian" wrote about yesterday at 10:07 pm. When I encounter the problem is when I make changes to existing objects on a page. Here's the scenario.
1. The page already exists out on the internet.
2. I make a change to the page on my home computer. This page has 5 objects and an index that is just words on it. I change the pictures filling three of the five objects.
3. I use CoffeeCup Direct FTP for all my ftp needs.
4. I connect to my server.
5. I upload the new HTML for the page.
6. Even though the HTML upload should take care of all the changes, I double check the html editor just to see what the object numbers are on the page, so I can reload them if necessary.
7. I open the files
8. I go ahead and reload the objects.
9. I look at my website on line. YIKES! The objects are all switched around. The fill in the boxes is a mess. My light blue button that has a link to return to the home page now has a distorted picture in it. My box that is just a black box with cream colored letters now has another distorted picture in it. The objects in which I changed the fill picture: one of them is light blue, one of them is black and the other is the picture that is supposed to be there.

Next I go through all kinds of steps to try to fix the mess. I resave my VSD. I upload everything again. The site on line is still a mess. I actually went through every possible step I could think of, including completely deleting the page off of the server along with every object on it and then upload it again. It made no difference. Still a mess on the site online. Then I actually re-worked the page on VSD and uploaded it all over again. Well, that changed the objects around, but they are still a mess.

I finally took the link to that index page completely off my home page and reloaded the home page. So now, on line you cannot access it at all.

Do you have any suggestions? (There have always been problems when I change objects around on a page, but usually uploading the HTML and objects a second and sometimes a third time has always straightened it out on line.) As far as this new problem goes, this is the second time it has happened to me. The first time I waited a week and tried to upload everything again - it uploaded fine and the page was fixed. I have no idea what the issue is or how to work around it, but it really hampers me. I work 3-5 hours every Saturday morning making little changes (and sometimes big changes) to our website. Because of its size, I never re-upload the entire thing, but just the changes.

Any guidance will be appreciated. I would send you a picture of it, except that I actually have taken the link off the website that would allow me to access it and take a page shot of it.

As an addendum to the issue I just posted a little bit ago - in the past (on the old VSD version) when I ran into an issue with the objects being funky after changes, as a final attempt to correct it, I would re-upload the page background image for that page number. That always finally corrected the problem. Now it doesn't seem to help.

Hi, it's me again. I just went back in and re-worked my problem page again, uploaded it and took a screen shot of what's showing online. I'm also attaching a screen shot of the same page on my computer so you can compare the two.

PS - I can't attach my attachments because I pasted my screen shot to a word document. I don't know how to make a screen shot and save it as a picture.

Um, I did that Scott in my first post, so why didn't you address it?

Thanks ;)

Sorry, but that screenshot does not help at all.

I would suggest you go through he normal support process and we can take a closer look at it. I know you know how to do that because you have at least 27,000 support tickets so far. ;)

Unless Filmhistorian and Uldene Smith are one and the same...

It was Uldene who was not able to do screen shots.

Hi Scott - It's Uldene again. I read your instructions on saving a screen shot that I can attach. I'm attaching two. The first one is what our the page on line looks like. The second one is what the page on VSD on my computer looks like. I don't know if it will help you. Thanks for taking a look at it.

PS. I must be a real klutz at this, because I got an error when I attempted to upload my attachments that my attachment must be less than 100k. I know I saved it in the correct format, so obviously it must be too big. I think I'll try to email you guys directly with the screen shots. I'll note that it's in relation to a forum and try to address it to Scott. Thanks,
