I downloaded VSD a couple of weeks ago and have been setting up our new website. I finally have it ready to go. I tried to upload it today and got an error message stating that it failed to connect to the server. I have a suspicion that the problem is on the host end but there is a one thing I'm not sure about in VSD and thought I would ask while waiting for them to get back to me. After I set up the information in the FTP settings box I tried to test it. It took me to the test box but then just sat there. It didn't give me a test failed message or anything. Is this the way it is supposed to work or should it say it passed or failed.

Sorry about the double post, I got an error message on both tries. Thought they didn't go through. Good thing I thought to check after the second time.

With Whom are you hosting with?
Usually it will give you a loggin error when testing VSD, but I have also seen when testing it still uploaded. Ftp set up is mostly user error so please double check you ftp settings to be sure. When you have done that and it still doesn't upload could you try selecting passive mode - the check box is located under the advanced tab.
