I've just posted a website made with VSD. Great, easy tool for a newbie like me. It's nothing too fancy, but you can see it at video450.com.

Two quick questions:
On www.ryanvideo.com/video450-March-Special.html , I used an html box to call up an iframe using a bit of code I found here on the support pages. The iframe displays the contents of a text file, which I put in the root directory of the website. It works fine.

However, when I publish the website, VSD doesn't copy the text file to the server, I have to manually go in with an FTP program to upload the text file. Not a big problem, but I wonder if I've missed something in the setup of VSD that would do it automatically?

Second question:
When I make a change to a single page in my website, I hit "publish" and it appears that VSD rebuilds the entire site, then uploads the entire site, including all graphics. Is there a setting to only have it upload changes made since the last time the site was published? Once again, not a major issue, but as the website grows, it's going to take longer and longer to publish, even if I'm just updating a single page or image.

Or, do most people just use an FTP program to change a single page or image?

Thanks for a great easy program!

David, I can not view your website listed... It has been blocked by my Anti-virus software.

I had to go to www.ryanvideo.com to open the site, but I didn't find that particular video.

If you click on "Edit" then "Add Files" at the top of VSD then click on {Root} then click on "Add file" at the bottom left of that window you can then browse to your text file to add it to the root of your site. If you want it in it's own folder then add a folder then add the text file to folder. VSD will then ftp the file up to the server and it will check for changes to the file every time you publish so you only have to add it once.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
