Yesterday I unintalled v20 and downloaded and installed v22. In v20 everything was working fine.

No in v22 when I do a preview it seems to have lost it's links to pdf files. I get the error message in the attached photo.

I am afraid to make any changes and republish as it does not seem to work in preview. Using IE9.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Galen

The big issue you have here is your PDF contains many characters it should not. Never use spaces in anything you plan to place on the web. Rename that PDF to something smaller with only alpha numeric characters and it will work fine.

Scott,

I changed names. One of the names is now "lesson1.pdf".

I still get error on preview. I don't know where all the % signs and stuff are coming from.

Here is where I am pointing to: D:\ASL Documents\ASL 1\lesson1.pdf

Thanks,

Galen

I am having the exact same problem with my .pdfs since upgrading. I can still view them locally using Google Chrome but they error out when trying to view with IE.

%20 represents spaces in files and or folders. I am sure once you upload it, things will work just fine.

I just downloaded Chrome and previewed with it and works fine.

When using v20 I was also using IE9 and everything previewed fine. Only has happened since the upgrade to v22.

Scott, can you give me a link to download v20? For the time being I would like to go back to that version as it was working fine

Thanks, Galen

Hopefully there will be an answer to this problem.

Thanks, Galen

Just upload it and see if it works. If it does, then you know the issue is only with previewing locally. ;)

Scott,

I did republsih and everything works fine at the actual website.

However, preview still does not work. With v20 I did not have this problem.
Also seems strange if I have to rename directories, etc. so they have no space. As I said things worked perfectly in v20.

Any ideas on how to get this to preview correctly?? I would not want to have to publish just to check things out.

Thanks for your help!

Galen

Did you try setting IE to be in compatibility mode?

I was just able to replicate this issue here and I have logged this with our developers to see about getting this fixed in the next update.
