Need help replacing an older website...

I recently finished a new website for a friend using VSD. Tonight, I passed all of the files to her so she can manage her own site. I used an FTP to place all of the files in a folder on her server, and she pulled the folder off the server onto her computer.

The site looked fine before that. I had uploaded the site many times from my computer with no problems. She opened the .vnu file on her computer and the site looked great in Visual Site Designer, but when she published it, the site has reverted back to a messed up WordPress site that was never completed.

Any ideas about how to fix it? I appreciate the time and help :)

Wow!
I would either login to the host and delete all the files manually or use an FTP program to do it then try publishing with VSD.

Looks like the site is defaulting to the WordPress php.index

Could I move all the files into another folder and keep them on the server?

Look for an index.php in the root of the site and delete it or change it's name.
Or move it to another folder.:)

It looks like the index.php has been renamed to index1.php try changing it back to just index.php but that is not the only problem. :P

I changed the index.php file in the public.html folder, but it's still a mess.

Try refreshing your browser. You have no index file in the root now so go ahead and republish with VSD.:)
