Joey I have a question!
these mouseovers are they linked to your pages or other websites?
the reason I mention this is because they are linked to (for example)
http://canadaoutfitterdirectory.com/alberta -if alberta is going to be a page in your website, then you just need to link to alberta.html
this will cause a slow load as well. just a thought.
And I also notice on the page mentioned, the mouseover on this page is missing the AB-NB-NL-NT-NS as well.AHHH!

If you go to my website http://www.rses.com you would notice a slight delay with the top buttons. At times, not all the buttons come up at the same time, at times they're all there.

After a few seconds all buttons response to the mouseover feature.

I don't think it is a matter of connection speed. I'm using OC192 connection on a 1GB network point to point. Trust me, it is fast.

I got used to it.

There are ways to "preload" images using javascript

Here is a link to a site describing the process: http://www.pageresource.com/jscript/jpreload.htm. However, I don't use VSD so I'm not sure how something like that would be implemented in the program.

It would be nice if an option existed on the rollover to automatically preload the images so no delay would be present.

hope that helps...
