Hello,
I'm using the mouseover effect(with VSD) on an object, which works fine except that it delays when I view it live. I have to place my cursor on a mouseover object for about a second (While it loads) and then it works. Once I place my cursor on all the mouseover effects, then it works awesome like it should.
It is there anyway to fix this issue, so both images of the mouseover effect are loaded upon entry of the site? Thanks.

Hi Joey,
I would think this,
if you use a let's just say a large image of 1024x1024, and make a thumbnail image of it and a mouseover, that it would take time for that image to fully load, as VSD doesn't reduce the size of the original images in the mouseover. but if you used and reduced sized image say like 200x200 it would most likely quicken the loading time. Hope that makes sense.

I've done some searching on the forums to try to find a solution, but can't seem to locate one... even though there has been a few people asking about it. Here are a couple other posts to help explain the same issue.

Hi Joey, I got a split second delay, could hardly notice..... so I take it it's just slow when you view it? How long of a delay?
have you tried clearing/cleaning your cache files /temp files
WAIT---- are we talking about the AB-BC on top right ?

I did not see any delay. Of course, it could just be my old eyes deceiving me.

Same here on this computer. I have a fast connection on my work computer and it's a split second delay, like yours. On my home computer (slower connection) it's about a second.
But even with a fast connection, I can see that it has to load the .jpg when I hover over it. Anyway to get around it, to load during entry rather than only when it's hovered over? Virtually ever other menu I've used, have the mouseover load instantly, with having to load 1st...
