Mouse over object must not intersect...
This ancient post addresses my issue and it came up when I searched for this topic, but I started a new thread rather than tag onto the end of it:

I am trying out VSD (5.9.4) and expect to purchase one of the packages soon (maybe when the new version is released any day now...)
I'm getting the "The home page cannot be shown on the internet - A mouse over object must not intersect with other objects on the page" message when I try to preview a test page built on a template with very few changes.
So, I did the following:
File, New website using templates...
Private category, computer 2 selected, click OK
Without doing anything further, click preview
I get the error message when using a straight VSD template with no modifications.
Sometimes it will go ahead and do a preview, but then later with no further changes I get the error message again. It will always eventually get the error message, but not consistently. If I preview the page fine, and then without doing anything else preview it again it often comes up with the error.
Is this an oversight/bug in that particular template, or a bug in VSD? I have uninstalled/reinstalled VSD several times, run as administrator, etc.

Paster Drew Hi, This is a template problem not a program problem, that error means one of the links are to close together, if you seperate them just a little further apart it will stop. At least when I did it.
NOTE: should be the second link.....On the Links page-I just uploaded it
personally I'd pick another template to use....

Thanks for confirming what I thought.
I figured I could dig around and find what needed to be moved, but since it was a template...
And it was inconsistent in producing the error message.
I'll experiment with some other templates, thanks again.

I have the same problem but cant find the mouse over object, please help me
Here's a possible solution. If you have a shadow or glow on your object, it can creep out quite a ways from the object itself. Turn off the shadow and see if you still have the problem.
It's been quite awahile since I ran into that problem and I figured out that sometimes even after I moved them farther apart, etc it would still happen. If that happens to you again another way I found to fix it is to select the object and then right click and go to arrange and "bring it to front". Usually works for me - hope it helps.
Sorry, I just realized my suggestion was already posted.
