Work flow:
1. Create button with Shape Tool
2. Label the button with GREEN text
3. Create a "mouse-over" and color the mouse-over text YELLOW
(or other way around, same result)

Result:
The button show green text but change into yellow if mouse-over routine is activated.

All works just fine until I add a new page based on a duplicate with the mouse-over object. I will loose the secondary color (YELLOW) and all object are set on "Mouseover object" in mouseover properties, while on the original "original object" is the default in mouseover properties.

I have on the duplicate put all properties back as set on the original and re-color the text of the mouseover object.

Can you follow me? :/

Can I classify this as a "bug"?

I just tried the exact steps here and I had no problems. Can you watch the video and see if this is exactly what you are doing?

Thanks Scott, nice clear video.

Yes, I do exactly the same thing here but with one difference: I do NOT change the color from the object but to color of the text in the object.

The mouse-over properties just change on the duplicated page. It's not a real duplicate after all.

It did work as expected in previous builds.
