OK. I'm stuck on this!

Can anyone tell me why my description is coming up as 'Main' under google searches? Try searching for 'Corrina Smith' and you will see what I mean.....

I can see the keywords and description in the source code.

Cheers
Corrina

Corrina,

Could be old information in a Google cache. I have 'descriptions' popping up on Google searches for my site that have not existed on the site for about two months, despite several passes since then by Google spiders.

What you could do, is creating a site map with CC Google site mapper, and then submit it to Google.

I agree with Inger that submitting the site map to Google should eventually do it. But you may have to be patient. I have had mixed results, especially when it comes to the time delay...
Corrina, I feel I just have to comment on your home page design, which I find close to perfect: Sparse, with just the three necessary elements of (1) Logo, (2) Site menu, and (3) A dominant, beautiful and relevant image.
The narrow focus range, that keeps the near and distant parts of the silver piece out of focus, draws attention even more to the detailing of the silver and the reflections in the stone! I also like the blue and white bird in the logo. - Reminiscent of the Kingfishers in our backyard.

So, all of this made me want to rethink some aspects of the design of the site I've been working on...

(I know that this does not really belong in this thread, but once I got started I know of no other place to finish, so I'll try to be brief)

Corrine,
After looking at - and commenting on - your terrific home page, I went on to look at your Gallery. It managed to quite startle me. In my humble opinion, I think you may want to drop the "Old TV" theme, and any other theme for that matter. I think your art looks best in your photos without the distraction of a theme or "framing". Just the pieces against some kind of neutral background would be beautiful! If you eliminate the bulky TV, you may even consider making the image area of the gallery a bit bigger to make the jewelry stand out still more.
Well, this is just one visitor's opinion, but I felt strongly enough about it to run the risk of offending you ;). It should not be interpreted as negative criticism of your site, but rather as positive critique of your art, which is quite capable of holding its own without any kind of framing or other distracting embellishments.

LOL Per, yes the old TV is a bit naff......Only there cos I was too inexperience and rushed to work out how to make the images larger using the basic template.

This is work in progress and will be resolved very shortly. All advise gratefully received.
Thank you.
