Hiya John,

A suggestion for the future when you do actually get to updating your site is to make things readable and viewable in all resolutions instead of requiring your viewers to change theirs. I don't know about everyone else, but when I see that I say to myself... "never mind it's not worth bothering to read if I have to go through all that". Just a thought for the future, but it's usually best for the website designer to adjust rather than expecting their viewers to do so.

*Disclaimer* The above fore mentioned suggestion doesn't in any way resemble, assemble, or in any way tie itself to Internet Explorer 6 or lower. In those cases let them upgrade I say! :P

Amen to that! The only people with an excuse for using IE6 by now are those stuck with corporate IT policies that take forever to update. I should know, my company only moved up from IE6 a few months ago.

That being said, what are those people doing cruising my web sites on company time anyway?

No support for IE6: it's the law!

Guess what? The people who replaced my hard drive were able to recover my original 'my documents' folder and lo and behold, I found my vnu file there! So I downloaded VSD and opened my file and all is well again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy camper! Thanks to all for all your help.
