I am building a large educational website that has links to hundreds of programs. I am building my website with 4 primary sections containing around 100 programs each

My thought was to build each one of my primary sections as its own file so I have files identified as:

RRC 100
RRC.200
RRC 300
RRC 400

On top of that I have a public area of my website as well as a membership area containing the four sections above.
What I ended up with was six VSD files each containing an index.html record.

What I am running into is that when I want to go from the main table of contents for my section RRC 400 I have a link that I have to type in the URL for: www.thejbicampus.com/Private/index.html

I am trying to link to the above domain path from the webpage located at URL www.thejbicampus.com/Private/RRC400/index.html

The above link does not work..

I understand that VSD requires that I have either a "home" page or an "index" page.
I was trying to keep the number of pages I have in each one of my files so that when I make a change to one directory I only have to upload that specific directory,

Is there another way I should build my website?

Why won't my link work?

In your ftp settings in vsd make the remote folder be.
public_html/Private/RRC400
This is only an example as I don't know the specifics of your host.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
