If I have a link to another website on my page, clicking it navigates to the linked site but doesn't keep my site open.
Is there a way around this in VSD?

I just saw that somebody had posted a similar question earlier today.
Just to clarify; is there a way to force a new window to open on a client's browser when they click a link on my website?

To do this you need to add a target attribute to your links so they look something like this:

<a href="http://www.yourlinkhere.com" target="_blank" title="your title here">Link Text Here</a>

Boyd, Since your using VSD you can click on what you want to link then at the top of VSD click "Link" then in the Link Properties box to the right look at the bottom where it says Target. Select New Window (_blank). Jo Anns code is great for when you find it necessary to code links.

Once again thanks for your help!
My new site is temporarily "parked" in a dormant domain of mine at www.sign-here.ca while being built.
When its ready to launch it will have it's own domain, which I've already registered.
It's very much still under construction but I'd sure appreciate any constructive criticism the experts could provide. - Boyd

Beautiful site, Boyd! Very classy
It would be good to have the main menu on every page instead of having to go back to home to get to another page. Besides, it's a great looking menu and makes a nice division between the head of the page and the content.
