Link properties box inserting www...
I've been trying to create a simple link for an object to open a webpage that does not start with www - it is webmail.school.edu. Everytime I input the link this way, the software tells me that the 'document does not exist' and refuses to save the site until I enter "http://" before the url. Then, when I input "http://webmail.school.edu", upon save it changes it to "http://www.webmail.school.edu" which renders the link useless.
How do i fix this? or get around this?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I tried to do the same as you, and I had no problem linking to a site not starting with www.
What I did was:
1. Made a text box and wrote some text
2. clicked 'use advanced text'
3. created the link.
I don't know if you did anything differently?

isn't that an email address? then choose the email option...
When I tried that given address, it worked inserting it, but it lead to nowhere. I assumed it was the address was to some webmail login page or so, and that the word 'school' was supposed to be changed out for the name of some school.
