OK .. I have made a page of sorts. If you look at the bottom of the page, the gap between "cleethorpes" and my "animated signatures" is what I want but in VSD program I have to scroll a long way to see the line that contains animated signatures. All the text up to the word Cleethorpes is in a html box and I would expect to place anything after that just below the box but if I do it ends up halfway up the page on top of the text.

The page displays in 4 different browsers ok, just curious as to why the huge gap showing in the program and what I have done wrong. (did I make any sense)

Try putting the content inside a <div></div>
Another thing is this stray code might be a problem.
<noscript></noscript>

It appears that you hand coded some html for the text into a HTML box. There appears the be a <br> at the end that might be causing the larger gap. It could be that the HTML box size isn't matched to the size actually needed for the page.:)

I wonder if it is because the text well exceeds the maximum size the html box can be. I just noted that it can be dragged down to 2000px and then stops.
