Hi Katrina

Please head over to http://www.coffeecup.com/designer/help/tutorials/ and watch the video " FTP Setup". This should help you get through this issue.

If not, scream loudly ;)

If it is about setting up the built-in FTP client, click on Help in the VSD tool bar and read the instructions on page 17. Make sure you have the correct details from your internet host. User names and passwords are case sensitive.

You need to set up the FTP info first. That is the info about the server you'll be using. You'll need the server name, user name, password and the remote folder the site will be uploaded to.
You'll find that under the Publish tab, FTP Account Settings. Each site has different settings.

Hello to Kathy & anyone else interested Re ;--I have the same issue and clicking on the link takes me to a site that says "No videos..." ???

If anyone is seeking the Tutorial Video's that Scott mentions try Youtube. They are quite good and are available on there. The Vid's seem to have vanished from CoffeeCup's site since edition 7 became available, but they ARE available on Youtube along with the Vid's on HTML--( for the masochists - (Ugh - YUK!!))
Tip - when you find them SAVE THEM - you never know when they might get taken down!.

Good Luck.

If you go to the Publish Menu > FTP Account Settings, edit your account details and make sure no field is empty, especially the Remote Folder path. Also, try checking the passive mode option and see if that helps.

If you find uploading over FTP a bit cumbersome, you should check out our FREE S-Drive service that is fully integrated into Visual Site Designer. With just a few steps, you can publish to our service and be amazed at how much faster it is.

1. First, you need to create your S-Drive Account

2. Go to Publish > CoffeeCup Account Settings and enter in your CoffeeCup account information

3. Go to Publish > Choose a Publishing Destination and select your S-Drive account

4. Click Publish

If you like what you see, you can even point your very own domain name over to your S-Drive account as well. Enjoy!
