Wierd double images at bottom of pages, and at least one with double header

I cant open source code for some reason either to check which VSD version, but this is an error that occured in first issue of VSD7

Have you downloaded latest version from your CC account downloads ?

And i found at least one link going to wrong place.

Just a thought have you un installed version 6 from your PC, i remember Scott saying having both could cause some weird issues !!!!!!!!

Thanks Viv!

I told them that this version is corrupt... They told me it was my hosting Provider, My DHTML Menu Bar does not hold my proper links to the page when I upload...

I can't open my DHTML HTML Codes once I lay them out in the VSD,
I would have to delete and add another HTML Code Bar.
In IE my Menu Bar has tridown.gif missing links in my dropdowns and worst of all
the VSD 0.7 is not doing what it's supposed to do.

I need solutions to this problem... I'm afraid to upload in the day in case of a screw up. ONLY! At night is when I upload, which then I'm up till the next day with no sleep trying to get this website accomplished.

Thank you! You are the only one that could see that it's not on my end... It has to be the VSD 0.7, I had little trouble with VSD 0.6.

Thanks,

Gary

Hi Viv,

I just had a thought... It's more work, but it might get something accomplished... What if I went to the HTML and replaced VSD images with my original images and did a manual upload to FTP... Do you think that would work? Just an idea...

How about trying this, though i am dropping off to sleep personally here in uk

Either (A) use your version 7 of vsd in a different user account on your pc, and upload site to a /testpage1 for us all to see what happens with a fresh upload

OR (B) make sure you have removed version 6 from your pc, and then upload to /testpage1

I just have a suspicion its a conflict with another program

MUST EXPLAIN THOUGH i am not the one you want in CC forums for technical stuff, I dont know my <div> from my >dove< but i do ONLY used VSD and tend to look for more simple issues.

you can open V6 websites, in V7 but dont if you dont have to as that in itself is known to throw up some issues

if all else fails in my signature is 000webhost

reliable, useable , free, open up an account and trial upload to them, VSD 7 works fine i have 2 sites on their servers

its a handy way of testing, usually propagate in a few hours.

Or use your free s drive account that came with VSD7 to test on. just type your cc user name & password in, you can still upload to your own server afterwards as well
