Image on top of "shape" - Post ID 169285

Hi Guys...
Is this a no,no..... placing an image on to a shape. I did read keeping text boxes and images seperate but wondered if this sort of thing would be ok.

I have done exactly that on most of my sites to make a picture frame effect
works fine for me

When I layer things like this, I group them to make sure they don't shift in different browsers – just to play it safe :)

This is just for your convenience in the design screen making it easy to move a mass of objects around maintaining there spacing. It has no affect on the code produced by VSD.:)

Put the background in VSD and the image on top

Then preview the page, put curser right on the edge of the background, and do save image as

Then its all tacked together as one image, and you can use it to replace the original image + background
