I have never had this problem before. Now that I upgrade I highlite the text and click on link to document and select the file...the box only shows the coffeecup website and not the file location. I preview it and my link takes me to the coffee cup website.
I have tried a few different combination of clicks etc...the link function seems really buggy to me in 6.0 and I need to get these links set-up to documents.

It shows the location above the link button, although it took me 3 tries to get it linked.

links seem to point to hard drive where document is no matter how you code it in. Guess we wait for another fix.

Yes, me too.

I've re-installed build 3 several times, but still find the http:// dropping off when I try to create a link to an external website. Then when I try to preview or save, an error message comes up saying I'm trying to link to a document that doesn't exist.

It's only "advanced text" feature though (ie when you stretch text or add effects) that doesn't link. I've tried recreating the text and even starting a site from scratch, but can't get a link to work in this context.

Hopefully, I'm just missing something simple here.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
