Spinny, have you tried linking to a target area that is, for example, at the bottom of another page? That is what this discussion is about.

Intra-page links do work fine.

How do you anchor the html box in a position other than the top in VSD?
I have an inferiority complex - but it is not a very good one.

You have to anchor it to something else that's on the page. That's the catch. If I had put that "text" box at the bottom of the page it would link to there, instead.

I think Bass has the just of it. I still don't know enough and will read on it for sure but I say it's not possible by me anyway.
SPinny thanks for the help.

Hi to you all
I am still having problems with this, probably because my knowledge of HTML is verrrrrrrry small, however my main problem seems to be that my HTML box doesnt end up where I put it to start with.
I used the advice from Spinny based on w3schools but when I go look at my source code VSD has put it elsewhere on my diary page, this is the link to part of the process.

will keep trying as I am sure I will get it right sometime!!!
