HTML Editor VISTA stops working -...

I just installed the newest version of HTML Editor and it never loads. Instead, when I try to start it, I immediately get a message that HTML Editor has stopped working. It never opens.

I reinstalled it. I re-downloaded it, too. No improvement. I've tried running it as an administrator, too.

Oh, yes. I'm running Vista Home Premium.

Is your UAC turned off?
Do you have administrator rights to your machine?
Did you install the HTML Editor to its default location?
Before you reinstalled, did you uninstall and reboot?

Just some questions that pops up...

I'm running Vista Home premium myself, and I've never had any such problems with the HTML Editor.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Something is obviously killing it as soon as it tries to open. The support team is going to need a whole lot more information from you to try and nail down what is causing it. I would suggest opening a support ticket so a tech can work directly with you on this.

I run Vista Business and have no problems running the software either.

Dave.

Thanks, Inger and Dave. I did not install it in it's default location. I did try running as admin.

I'll try the fixes before I open a ticket.

Thanks!

Thanks to all who made suggestions. I left the default install directory alone and made sure I installed as administrator. IT WORKS! Thanks
:D
